Armenia's COVID-19 tally reaches 194,852

Armenia confirmed 1,116 new coronavirus cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 194,852, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll has reached 3,552 as 19 more succumbed to the deadly pathogen. As many as 174,545 people have recovered from the disease.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province and has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
