Armenia's COVID-19 tally exceeds 152,000

Armenia confirmed 861 new coronavirus cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 152 392, Report says, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll reached 2, 596 as 15 more succumbed to the deadly pathogen. So far, 131, 213 people have recovered from the infection.
There are currently 17, 796 active COVID-19 patients in the country.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province and has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
