Armenian health authorities have reported 330 new cases of Covid-19 over the last 24 hours bringing the total number to 28,936.
The country's death toll increased by 7 to 491.
A total of 123,815 tests for coronavirus have been performed. As many as 16,302 patients have recovered from the disease while the treatment of 11,984 patients is underway.
Earlier at a briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev stressed that the Armenian leadership is covering up the real COVID-19-related figures.
"Today, Armenia is in a dire situation because of the negligent policy pursued by the country's leadership. They are hiding the coronavirus figures from their citizens," he said.
"While begging for help, they oppose the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev to convene a special session of the UN General Assembly. In this way, Armenia is revealing its true nature," Hajiyev stressed.
