Armenia-Russia trade reaches 2019 level

In the first half of 2021, the Armenia-Russia trade reached $1.9 billion, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said at a Russian-Armenian business forum in Yerevan today, Report informs via Sputnik Armenia.
According to Grigoryan, this figure is 16% more than in the same period last year, almost the same as in 2019. In 2019, the value of trade turnover between the two countries reached $2 billion for the first time, and the following year decreased slightly.
The official said that mainly the imports and exports of machinery, light and chemical industries, precious stones, foodstuffs have increased.
