Armenia reports 24 new COVID-19 deaths

Armenia confirmed 870 new coronavirus cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 207,973, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll has reached 3,859 as 24 more succumbed to the deadly pathogen. As many as 187,256 people have recovered from the disease. There are 15,880 active COVID-19 patients in the country.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province and has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
