Armenia Expresses interest in obtaining observer status in BRICS

Armenia is interested in obtaining observer status in BRICS, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in an interview with WION, Report informs.

"Yes, we participated in the work of BRICS, as well as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. You asked about BRICS, and we are still interested in obtaining observer status in this organization and in seeing what such cooperation and this format can bring to our region," Mirzoyan noted.
