Araghchi: Pezeshkian's phone conversation with Ilham Aliyev opened new chapter in relations between two countries

A telephone conversation between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev opened a new chapter in relations between the two countries, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, Report informs referring to Tasnim.

He praised the ties between the presidents of Iran and Azerbaijan.

Earlier, Pezeshkian stated that Azerbaijan had provided assistance to Iran during its most difficult times.

President Ilham Aliyev, thanking Pezeshkian for his kind and sincere words, emphasized that Azerbaijan stands with the brotherly Iranian people.
