Ambassador: US and Türkiye jointly strengthen collaboration within NATO

The United States and Türkiye have jointly enhanced their cooperation within NATO, said Jeff Flake, the outgoing US ambassador in Ankara, in a video message, Report informs.
Flake highlighted the significant progress made in various strategic areas over the past years.
He noted that serious advancements have been achieved in key issues such as the sale of F-16s to Türkiye and the membership of Finland and Sweden in NATO.
Additionally, the ambassador emphasized the importance of their joint support for Ukraine.
Flake expressed his gratitude to Ankara, saying, “I thank official Ankara for the ‘Grain Agreement’ reached between Russia, Ukraine, the UN, and Türkiye.”
