About 30 cases of the omicron variant of COVID have been registered in Russia, Deputy Healthcare Minister Viktor Fisenko said, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
Over the past day, Russia has recorded 25,907 cases of coronavirus infection, a drop of 4.13% than the day before (27,022), and the lowest level since October 6.
The total number of cases rose to 10,267,719, the federal COVID-19 operational headquarters said.
During the day, 1,027 patients have died in Russia, the total number of deaths has reached 299,249. This is while 40,219 people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,055,199.
