Azerbaijan to assume chairmanship of Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State in 2027

Azerbaijan will assume the chairmanship of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2027, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said at the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan, according to Report's correspondent in Turkmenistan.

"Allow me to sincerely congratulate esteemed Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan assuming the first chairmanship of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2027. I am confident that Azerbaijan's chairmanship will give a new impetus to our joint work and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. The Kyrgyz Republic is ready to provide the necessary support and facilitate the successful implementation of the priorities of Azerbaijan's chairmanship," Japarov said.
