Ali Asadov thanks CIS countries for active participation in WUF13 in Baku

Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov expressed gratitude to the CIS countries for their active participation in the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, stated Asadov at a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government in Ashgabat on Friday, Report informs.

"I would like to note that today in Baku, the 13th session of the World Urban Forum concludes-one of the largest international platforms on sustainable development, urbanization, and improving quality of life," the Prime Minister said.

He added that the Forum, held under the UN's auspices, brought together a record number of participants-over 40,000 from 182 countries-to discuss pressing challenges, including the global housing crisis, sustainable urban development, climate resilience, and post-crisis recovery.

"On this occasion, I would like to express my gratitude to the representatives of CIS member states for their active participation in the World Urban Forum," he noted.
