Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed that US President"s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will visit Moscow and then Kyiv on Sunday, Zelenskyy said on his Telegram channel, according to Report.

"We are preparing for this visit. A meeting was held with our broad diplomatic team - specifically those working with the American side. And, as was the case during previous diplomatic visits by US representatives, we will ensure the normal functioning of Russian airspace so that the negotiators can arrive safely," he said.

The Ukrainian president also called on Russia to ensure a halt to airstrikes for the period necessary to hold the talks and resolve logistical issues related to the visit by the US representatives.

"Our goal is to make the visit and talks with the American side as constructive and substantive as possible. We need to look for real ways to bring this war to an end. Let's see what proposals Steve and Jared have and what response they receive in Moscow," Zelenskyy said.
