Zelenskyy says strike on Russia's Yaroslavl oil refinery achieved 'good results'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv had achieved "good results" in an operation targeting the Yaroslavl oil refinery in Russia, signaling the continuation of Ukrainian strikes on Russian energy infrastructure.

"Good results have been achieved at the Yaroslavl oil refinery. We are continuing the relevant operations," Zelenskyy said in a post on X following a briefing from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi.

The Ukrainian leader also said the briefing focused on the defense of Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk and the broader Donetsk region. In addition, he said he discussed efforts to strengthen Ukraine's air and missile defense capabilities, including coordination with the United States on the supply of missiles for air defense systems.
