Zelenskyy: Russia continues killing civilians even on day of Alaska talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian forces continue to strike civilian infrastructure even on the day of negotiations in Alaska, and that Moscow is showing no signs of willingness to end the war.

According to Report, Zelensky said on social media that he is receiving updates from intelligence and diplomats regarding the upcoming meeting in Alaska and the positions with which Russian President Vladimir Putin is approaching the talks. At the same time, new reports of attacks on Ukrainian regions are coming in: Sumy – a strike on the central market, Dnipropetrovsk region – attacks on cities and industrial facilities, and in the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Donetsk regions – targeted Russian shelling.

The Ukrainian President emphasized that there are no indications that the Kremlin is preparing to end the war.

"On the day of negotiations, the enemy continues to kill. That says a lot about the true intentions of the Russian regime," he noted.
