Zelenskyy expects to meet Trump in late September

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expects to meet with US President Donald Trump in late September, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, Kyiv is developing its own Freya missile program and hopes to receive Washington's support in implementing the project.

Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine intends to continue cooperation with European partners and expects the necessary results from them. At the same time, he said, Kyiv currently needs supplies of ballistic missiles specifically from the United States.

The Ukrainian president said he plans to discuss the issue with Trump during the proposed meeting.

"I expect to meet with Trump in the 20s. To raise this issue. And God willing, there will be a result," Zelenskyy said.
