Zelenskyy expects strong and concrete outcomes from NATO summit in Ankara

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine expects strong and concrete outcomes from the NATO summit in Ankara, with strengthening the country's air defense remaining the top priority, Report informs.

In a post on Telegram, Zelenskyy said the summit should deliver decisions that provide greater protection for Ukrainians, expand Ukraine's defense capabilities, and deepen security cooperation between Ukraine, Europe, and the United States.

The Ukrainian president also said he is scheduled to hold nearly 20 bilateral meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the summit.

"We will continue working to strengthen Ukraine's air defense without interruption. New systems, missiles for them, and production licensing issues are all among our priorities. We are grateful to everyone supporting Ukraine through concrete actions," Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy has already arrived in Ankara, where the NATO summit is taking place on July 7–8.
