Zelenskyy asks parliament to back prosecutor general's dismissal

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on the Verkhovna Rada to support the dismissal of Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, Report informs.
"The Prosecutor General has only one path - dismissal from office. That is exactly what I told him," Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.
The Ukrainian president said the country had seen all the reasons behind the decision. He added that if Kravchenko considers the move political pressure, he should describe it as such.
Zelenskyy urged lawmakers to support the dismissal without delay.
"I ask the parliamentarians to support this dismissal immediately," he said.
