The number of people who recovered form the new type of coronavirus is 558,150, while 147,757 died.
Report says, 2,200,322 people have tested positive for coronavirus so far.
United States (671,475), Spain (188,068), and Italy (168,941)saw the highest number of infections.
Turkey, which border Azerbaijan has confirmed 74 392 cases of COVID9-19, while 1,643 lost lives. In Iran, 79,494 people are virus carriers. According to the latest data, 4,958 became victims of the pandemic in the country.
Notably, as of April 16, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Azerbaijan is 1,283, while 15 people have died so far.
