WHO warns of growing infection risk related to omicron strain

There may be a significant rise in the number of infections in the near future, the World Health Organization (WHO) said in its message to the world regarding the Omicron coronavirus strain.
Report informs, citing Haber Global, that, according to the message, the new variant is more contagious than the previous ones.
The global health watchdog said it is not right to close borders and restrict travel: "Vaccination is the best way out."
