Vucic says he plans to meet Zelenskyy at Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he will take part in the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit, where he plans to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Report informs, citing Serbian news agency Tanjug.

"Of course, it is good when you cooperate. I have already attended four meetings - in Odesa, Dubrovnik, Athens and Tirana," Vucic said.

The exact location and date of the summit have not been announced.

Vucic first visited Ukraine in June 2025 to attend the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit, which was held in Odesa.

However, he did not sign the final declaration, in which summit participants called on the international community to step up support for Ukraine and reaffirmed support for Ukraine's efforts to find a diplomatic path to lasting peace.

The Serbian leader said Belgrade firmly supports Ukraine's territorial integrity and that Kyiv can always count on humanitarian aid and political support from Serbia.
