Ukraine has received information from the United States about a possible strike by Russia using the Oreshnik missile system, a source within Ukrainian authorities said, according to RBC-Ukraine, cited by Report.
"Preliminarily, such information was received," the source said when commenting on the information.
There have been no official statements from the administration of the United States or any warning from the US Embassy in Kyiv so far.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had warned of the possibility of such a strike within the next 24 hours and urged citizens not to ignore air-raid alerts.
The reports come amid ongoing tensions and military developments involving Russia.
