US sends F-15 Eagle fighters to Poland

American F-15 Eagle fighter jets have arrived at the air base in Lask, Poland, Report informs with reference to the US Air Force command in Europe.

The fighters were sent from Lakenheath Air Base in Great Britain.

According to the US Air Force, fighter jets will begin conducting deterrence operations on NATO's eastern flank in Poland.

Earlier, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak said that the US Air Force base in Povidze would be expanded.
