US Secretary of State arrives in Doha

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in the Qatari capital Doha, State Department official Matthew Miller said on the social network X.
"Qatar has been an important partner in ongoing efforts to release hostages held by Hamas. Secretary Blinken is in Doha today to continue the critical coordination efforts that come from our strong US-Qatar relationship," he said.
Earlier, Matthew Miller said at a briefing that Blinken would visit Türkiye, Greece, Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Israel, the West Bank and Egypt within a week to discuss a range of important issues with his counterparts.
