US eyes direct dialogue with Iran

Through mediators in Europe, the US is ready to offer the Iranian authorities to start direct bilateral negotiations, Report informs, referring to Sky News Arabia.
According to a source in the US Department of Defense, US President Joe Biden’s administration intends to initiate direct dialogue with Tehran through European intermediaries.
On January 25, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that Tehran would not make a single step towards Washington until the US returned to implementing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear program.
