US: COVID-19 death toll surpasses 900 in last day

The number of coronavirus infections in the United States has exceeded 50,000 over the past day, said Johns Hopkins University, which summarizes data from federal and local governments, as well as the media and other open sources.
Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that the number of COVID-19 patients increased by 50,341 in the last day, while 915 died.
According to the university's latest data, doctors have diagnosed more than 7.5 million people in the US since the beginning of the pandemic, while 211,000 fell victims to the virus. More than 2.9 million people have recovered from the disease.
