The US imposes a ban on the import of seafood, diamonds, and alcohol from Russia, as well as on the supply of luxury goods to this country, Report informs citing foreign media with reference to US President Joe Biden.
In addition, the United States is depriving the Russian Federation of the status of "most favored nation". The change in Russia's trade status would allow the US Congress to impose tariffs on any or all goods imported from Russia into the US, including caviar, vodka, plywood, and other goods.
Biden said the G7 countries would seek a ban on Russian borrowing from the World Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
