On the occasion of International Children's Day on 1 June, President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, met on the sidelines of the Second meeting of the European Political Community, Report informs.
"A just and enduring peace is what Ukraine needs. Ukraine has made impressive progress on its EU path. We are by your side, we will work hard together to reach this goal," said von der Leyen.
