Unspecified disease kills 13 children in Afghanistan

At least 13 children died of pneumonia-like symptoms in Badakhshan province, in northeastern Afghanistan.

Report informs, citing Tolo News, that according to a source from local authorities, "at least 13 teenagers have died over the past three days from the disease, similar to pneumonia."

Afghan authorities have not yet clarified the reasons for the teenagers' death.
