UN Sec.-Gen. calls for avoiding double standards in conflicts

In the conflicts in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip, the international community must adhere to principles consistent with the UN Charter and international humanitarian law, and avoid double standards, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said at the EU summit in Brussels, Report informs via TASS.
He noted that both the Hamas terror attack on October 7 and the unprecedented number of victims in Gaza should be condemned.
He also thanked the European Union for its close cooperation with the UN on global challenges.
