Ukraine strikes TANECO oil refinery in Russia's Tatarstan

Ukraine struck the TANECO oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, in Russia's Republic of Tatarstan, causing a fire at the facility, Report informs.

Ukraine's Defense Forces announced this on Telegram.

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the strike on TANECO was carried out overnight into August 10 as part of measures to reduce Russia's military potential.

Ukrainian forces also said they hit a repair unit in Khrustalnyi, Luhansk region, as well as logistics warehouses in Novoselydivka and a field artillery depot in Donetsk region. The extent of the damage is being clarified.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also disclosed the consequences of previous strikes. In particular, after the strike on the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region on August 8, AVT-6 primary oil refining units were damaged.

Following the strike on the Gvardeyskoye airfield in occupied Crimea on August 3, nine horizontal aviation fuel tanks were destroyed and two aircraft equipment hangars were damaged.
