Ukraine wants to get membership in the European Union and NATO within 5 to 10 years, Report informs, citing Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal’s interview with the German newspaper Handelsblatt.
"We desire to become an EU member within 5 to 10 years. It, of course, depends not only on us but on 27 other countries as well. The same goes for NATO. Ukraine is also seeking membership in the North Atlantic Alliance,” Shmyhal said.
According to the prime minister, to become an EU member, Ukraine must achieve progress in the fight against corruption, and European standards in the judicial system.
