Ukraine expects US delegation in August for talks on ending war

Ukraine expects a US delegation to visit in August to continue talks on ending the Russia-Ukraine war, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, the negotiation process with Russia involving US partners is currently on pause.
"We are waiting for the arrival of the American negotiating team. We welcome the efforts of the American side and want greater momentum and US involvement," Sybiha said.
Earlier, it was said that US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner could visit Kyiv in August. The possibility of their visit became known after a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"All of this was the subject of Zelenskyy's talks with Trump during his recent trip to Washington. Ukraine seeks to end this war. We are using every opportunity to bring a just peace for Ukraine closer," Sybiha said.
