UK Foreign Secretary: Sanctions against Russian oligarchs will never be lifted 

“The sanctions imposed on Russian oligarchs will never be lifted,” UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss told The Times, Report informs, citing UNIAN.

“This is an extremely difficult situation. Those oligarchs allowed Russian President Vladimir Putin to do what he is doing now. Their hands are covered in blood,” she said.

In a damning assessment of the UK’s stance on Russia following the Cold War, The Foreign Secretary has warned the West had “taken its eye off the ball” since the Blair administration.

According to her, the Russian businessman, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich cannot return to Britain.
