UAE denies reports of financial support for Iran

The UAE has dismissed reports that it provided financial support to Iran and revoked residency permits for foreign workers as false, UAE Presidential Adviser Anwar Gargash said on X.

"Some platforms are spreading false information about the country, while the state continues to focus its efforts on responding to regional developments and preparing for the post-conflict period," he wrote.

Gargash stressed that the UAE's approach is that concrete work and tangible achievements are the best response to such claims.

"As for the rumors being circulated - particularly claims about revoking residency permits for workers and other similar allegations - this is false information and part of desperate media campaigns," the UAE presidential adviser said.
