Türkiye takes back islet under control of Greece

Türkiye has recaptured the Zourafa islet rock in the Aegean Sea, which is under the control of Greece, Report informs, citing TGRT Haber.
The islet is of strategic importance in terms of fishing and defense.
According to information, Ankara sent an official letter to Athens and said that the islet belonged to it. It was noted that the sovereignty of the islet belongs only to Türkiye. Greece responded positively to the letter.
