Trump: Witkoff and Kushner to travel to Russia to end war in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump commented on the visit of his special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner to Russia.

According to Report, when asked by a journalist in the Oval Office whether the delegates would deliver new proposals on Ukraine to the Russian side, the US president said:

"They will bring a proposal to end the war."

The White House chief also emphasized that there were "good chances" of resolving the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

"They're doing a wonderful job. And we sent them to see if we can get something done. And there may be a good chance that we will," Trump said.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Witkoff and Jared Kushner would visit Moscow and then Kyiv.
