Trump suggested in his remarks in the Oval Office that his administration could take action against Russia if Vladimir Putin doesn't continue to cooperate in negotiations over ending the war in Ukraine, Report informs via NBC News.
"Putin knows where I stand, and he'll make a decision one way or the other," Trump said. "Whatever his decision is, we'll either be happy about it, or unhappy, and if we're unhappy about it, you'll see things happen."
Trump has implied for months that the US could ramp up pressure on Russia with additional sanctions, for example, but his administration hasn't followed through on those threats.
