Trump blames military helicopter crew for fatal plane crash near Washington

US President Donald Trump believes that the Black Hawk military helicopter, which collided with an American Airlines passenger plane approaching for landing on January 29, was violating rules by flying at an excessively high altitude and exceeding the maximum allowed height of 60 meters.

According to Report, Trump expressed his views on the incident in a post on Truth Social.

Earlier reports suggested that the helicopter might have deviated from its approved route and was flying higher than it should have been.

The helicopter, carrying three military personnel, and the plane, with 60 passengers and four crew members on board, collided near Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington. Wreckage from both aircraft plunged into the Potomac River, leaving no survivors in the tragic accident.
