Three patients die of hantavirus in Venezuela

Venezuela's Health Ministry has announced the deaths of three patients with confirmed hantavirus infection, Report informs.
"We regret to report the deaths of three patients in Anzoátegui state with a confirmed diagnosis of hantavirus. The virus is transmitted by rodents in agricultural areas, mainly through the inhalation of particles from urine, feces or saliva in enclosed spaces. There is no scientific evidence of human-to-human transmission of the virus in our country," the ministry said in a statement on social media.
