Three French tourists killed in boat capsizing off coast of Oman

Three French tourists were killed after a leisure boat capsized during a sea excursion near the coast of Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, Omani police said on social media, as quoted by Report.
"According to preliminary information, the boat capsized 2.5 nautical miles (4.6 kilometers) from Sultan Qaboos Port in Muttrah. There were 25 French tourists, a guide, and a captain on board. As a result of the incident, three tourists were killed and two others sustained minor injuries," the statement said.
Emergency medical teams from the Civil Defense Authority provided assistance to the tourists at the scene.
