Russian President Vladimir Putin outlined the main goals for achieving peace with Ukraine.
According to Report, Vladimir Putin said during a 'Direct Line' with citizens and a major press conference with journalists that the goals stated at the beginning of the 'special military operation' do not change.
"There will be peace when we [Russia] achieve our goals. One of the main goals is denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine," Putin said.
He also recalled that the issues of peace were discussed at the negotiating table with Istanbul, but "they turned out to be inconclusive."
According to him, Russia has destroyed 747 tanks and 2,300 armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the Ukrainian counter-offensive.
