Tehran denies Washington’s statement about supply of explosives to Yemen

Iran has denied US allegations of supplying explosives to Yemen, according to Iran’s Permanent Mission to the UN, Report informs referring to TASS.
The diplomatic mission noted that Tehran has always been committed to UN Security Council Resolution 2216 on an arms embargo on Yemen, and added that Iran has never taken and will not take measures that violate the resolution.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has recently detained a ship in the Gulf of Oman that CENTCOM claimed was carrying explosives from Iran to Yemen.
