Sunak: Western countries not going away from their stance on supporting Ukraine

Western leaders won’t back down from their stance to support Ukraine, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said in an interview with Sky News during the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Report informs.
“Russia needs to know that we and other countries are steadfast in our resolve to support Ukraine, not just in the here and now with the resources it needs to protect itself, but for the long term as well,” he said.
The UK has expanded sanctions against 86 Russian individuals and companies in a number of areas.
