Scientists have deciphered a new type of coronavirus genome found in a patient in Brazil. This was reported on the website of the national research laboratory of the Brazilian Ministry of Health Institute Adolf Lutz, cited by Russian media.
The results of the study were obtained 48 hours after the first case in the region.
The work was conducted jointly with scientists from the Institute of Tropical Medicine at the University of São Paulo and the British University of Oxford.
