Stenergard, Rubio sign memorandum on technological cooperation

Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral technological cooperation in Helsingborg, Sweden. The agreement will enhance cooperation in sectors such as artificial intelligence, biomedicine, energy, space, and defense innovation.
"We are here to mark an important milestone in our bilateral relations," Stenergard said, according to Sweden's SVT, cited by Report.
Rubio, in turn, said he looks forward to the results of the cooperation.
"In the coming years, we will become even more competitive," he said.
The memorandum was designed to develop complementary strengths and mutual interests in new technologies and innovation.
