On Thursday, experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) entered Wuhan, the administrative center of China's central province of Hubei, Report informs, citing the CGTN TV channel's Twitter page.
"The WHO scientists have arrived in the central Chinese city of Wuhan to cooperate in research on the origins of COVID-19. The team will undergo quarantine procedures before starting fieldwork," said post.
Earlier, the Chinese government has not allowed the WHO commission staff investigating the coronavirus into the country. The visit's purpose was to investigate the cause of the virus in Wuhan, where COVID-19 is allegedly spread.
China agreed to the visit of WHO representatives in mid-December.
