Sa'ar: Israel welcomes Kazakhstan's accession to Abraham Accords

Israel welcomes Kazakhstan's accession to the Abraham Accords, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said in Astana following talks with Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev, Report informs.
"We welcome the decision of the President [of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev] to join the Abraham Accords. Kazakhstan has become the first Central Asian country to take this step," Sa'ar said.
He emphasized Israel's support for US President Donald Trump's Gaza plan (which Kazakhstan has also joined – ed.). He stated that the plan's implementation is "necessary both for Israel's security and for a better future for the Gaza Strip."
The foreign minister emphasized the need to disarm radical groups in the region, such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
"Without this, the regional stability we strive for will not exist," he said.
