Russian ballistic missile strike hits railway depot in Kyiv, killing 7

In the early hours of Tuesday, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike against a railway depot and other rail facilities in Kyiv, killing seven people, including six employees of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways), Report informs, citing a statement on Facebook by Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, CEO of Ukrzaliznytsia.

According to him, the strike was targeted. One employee was hospitalized with injuries and is receiving necessary medical care.

The head of the company reported large-scale destruction: a workshop near the depot was completely destroyed, and rescue teams are still extinguishing several fires.

Traffic was temporarily closed on two sections due to the strike.
