Russian attacks on Ukraine's Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions have killed six people and injured 37 others, according to Ukrainian authorities, cited by Report.
Ukraine's National Police said two people were killed and nine others wounded in strikes on the Sumy region.
Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov said Russian forces launched 973 strikes on 45 settlements across the region over the past 24 hours. The attacks killed four people and injured 28 others in the city of Zaporizhzhia as well as the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts.
Regional authorities also said they received 249 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and critical infrastructure caused by the attacks.
