The Financial Times published that Russia lost its status as a significant rival to the United States over the past three years, and China is now playing that role, Report says.
The publication claims that the current US government considers China the most noteworthy threat in terms of technology and armaments.
Journalists also note that China is now acting under its new role, and cooperation between Moscow and Beijing has strengthened.
However, some groups in the United States believe that this interaction is not strong enough. They do not rule out the possibility that Russia and the United States will unite against China at some point.
